I'm Dhia Akermi — a filmmaker and photographer based in Malta, working across weddings, events, festivals, short films, aerial cinematography, and editorial photography. I started the way most people start telling stories at a dinner table: by necessity, and with the people I loved.

What began as restless experiments with a borrowed camera grew into a practice built around one stubborn belief — that an image can hold a truth a sentence can't reach. A sense of how light lands on a face. A tolerance for silence. A patience for the frame that takes its time to arrive.
